Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support dentists during procedures, provide excellent patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems Ensure all dental materials and supplies are stocked and organised Support with infection control protocols in line with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with patients, answering questions and providing reassurance Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence

Skills

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Good IT skills for maintaining electronic health records and scheduling systems Knowledge of nursing principles applicable to dental care Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required Compassionate approach with a focus on delivering high-quality patient service
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week
