We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional dental services. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, organisational skills, and effective communication to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice.

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment before and after procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently. Provide excellent patient care by addressing concerns and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of service delivery. Utilise IT systems for managing patient information and scheduling appointments. Uphold strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

5 GCSE's including English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent. Strong patient care skills with a genuine interest in promoting oral health. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills. Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated and proactive in your duties.
