We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment in accordance with health and safety standards Monitor patient wellbeing throughout their visit, responding promptly to any concerns or discomforts

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Basic IT proficiency for maintaining accurate records and using practice management software Excellent communication skills to reassure patients and explain procedures clearly Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is advantageous but training will be provided for the right candidate
