Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate apprentice or trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care and maintaining a smooth clinical operation. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients Manage patient records accurately using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence Maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within the practice Communicate effectively with patients, answering questions and providing reassurance as needed

Qualifications

Prior experience in patient care or nursing is not essential, as training will be provided Good command of English, both written and spoken Strong communication skills with the ability to relate well to patients and team members Organised with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Basic IT skills for managing electronic patient records and appointment systems A caring attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: 9.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
