Leeds have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join their growing team as a Trainee Dental Nurse. Our Clinic is located in a fabulous retail location in Central Leeds combining best patient experience with state of the art AI digital technology, offering Invisalign treatments and aesthetic dentistry.

You will be part of our Invisalign Clinic helping patients grow their confidence with their brand new smile. You will train in all aspects of dental nursing as well as composite bonding and tooth whitening and you will love helping us create TIkTok videos for our social media channels. Our practice environment is state of the art and our 'unique boutique' setting is designed to give our patients a 5 star patient journey.

This opportunity comes with a fully funded external training course as well as in house training. You will be fully supported by our highly experienced fantastic team who are passionate about great team work and they are ready to take you under their wing !

The role will provide a fully funded training with a highly reputable training provider. You will achieve a Dental Nurse Qualification over the course of a 18 months training plan. The course will be carried out online with support from a personal tutor. You will also receive an appointed mentor who will support you with in house training. Upon successful qualification as a Dental Nurse you will be able to apply for registration with the General Dental Council. Following that, Smmmile will provide extended Dental Nurse training in radiology. You will start this role on a training salary but it will be reviewed after successful completion of the 6 months probation period. Upon qualification, you will receive an attractive pay review.

The Role

Full time position Monday to Friday with Saturdays as rota (day off during the week)

Training in all aspects of :-

Assisting the dentist chair side

Re-stocking the surgery

Preparing materials for appointments

Carrying out decontamination duties

Operating the suction

Processing x-rays

Reception duties

Perform all duties in line with the Code of Ethics outlined by the Association of Dental Nurses and the GDC

To work on establishing productive working relationships with all members of the dental team

Required Skills

. Able to work full time while studying

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Must be a team player

Must be honest, reliable, punctual, with an open and welcoming manner, willing to go the extra mile

Must be computer literate

Highly organized

Working Hours:-

37.5 hrs per week spanning across Monday to Saturday
