Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Dental Nurse to become part of a great team, helping us to deliver a memorable patient experience

Dental Nurses support dentists, and the other care professionals who look after peoples teeth, with anything from sterilising instruments to reassuring a nervous patient through to booking appointments and assisting chairside.

You will attend College where you will be supported with your portfolio of learning.

Here are some of the things you will learn during your Apprenticeship:

Anatomy of teeth and internal structures Prepare and maintain environments, instruments and equipment for clinical dental procedures Offer information and support to individuals on the protection on their oral health Contribute to the production of dental images Provide chair-side support during the extraction of teeth, fillings and other dental treatments Understand & Promote Cross Infection within the Dental setting

Full Time Hours:

40.00 weekly

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:45 - 4:15pm (30min lunch)

Tuesday: 8:45am - 5:45pm (1hr lunch)

Wage:

6.40 ph

As part of your training you are required to attend College on a registered apprenticeship course.
