Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organised environment.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment. Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure a seamless workflow within the practice. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies.

Requirements

Qualified as a Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or working towards this qualification. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn.
