We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Duties



Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised. Provide exceptional patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Maintain strict hygiene standards by sterilising equipment and ensuring the treatment rooms are clean and organised. Record patient information accurately using IT systems, including treatment notes, appointments, and medical histories. Support patients with post-treatment advice and instructions, ensuring they understand their care plans. Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimise clinic flow and minimise waiting times. Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times, including infection control measures. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications



Prior experience in patient care or nursing is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate clearly with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Excellent communication skills to reassure patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate electronic records and managing appointment schedules. A recognised qualification in dental nursing or relevant healthcare training is advantageous but not mandatory. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with a professional attitude. Pay: 25,000.00-25,396.80 per year
