We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilise equipment, and ensure all clinical areas adhere to health and safety standards. Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, including updating treatment notes and scheduling appointments. Offer post-treatment advice to patients and answer any questions they may have. Support with administrative tasks such as organising supplies and maintaining clinical stock levels. Maintain clear communication with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

Prior experience or training in nursing or dental assisting is preferred but not essential; relevant qualifications are advantageous. Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment scheduling. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
