Overview:

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will support our dental team in delivering excellent patient care. This role is ideal for someone with some prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting, but we are happy to provide full training for the right candidate. You will work closely with the dentist and dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Maintain accurate patient records

- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

- Perform administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Certified Dental Nurse or equivalent qualification

- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in dental software systems

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Exceptional patient care skills with a focus on comfort and satisfaction

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

- Ability to work well in a team environment
