We are seeking a dedicated and professional Trainee Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk while providing exceptional patient care. Duties

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures. Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time and resources. Manage patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy. Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries in a timely manner. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care coordination. Maintain a clean and organised reception area, creating a welcoming environment for patients. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and inventory management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and staff. Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, managing multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with IT systems relevant to dental practices is advantageous. A background in nursing or patient care is beneficial but not essential. A friendly disposition and a commitment to providing outstanding patient service are essential for success in this role.
