Trainee Dental Nurse

We're looking for a trainee who's

already making good progress in their course

and is now ready to join a practice where they can build confidence, learn from an experienced team, and get hands-on exposure to high quality dentistry.


This role is a little different from a standard trainee position. We can offer full-time hours until around March or April next year. After that, we can guarantee two set days a week, with the option to pick up extra shifts to cover holidays. Because the hours change later on, the role is ideal for someone on a commercial dental nurse course or self-funding. We're also open to supporting the course costs for the right person.

About Us

Newcastle-under-Lyme Dental Practice is a long-standing private practice based in a beautiful Victorian building opposite Newcastle High School. We're close to Stoke and have easy access to the M6. Our six-surgery practice has been caring for patients for more than 50 years and we're well known for cosmetic dentistry, implants, and Invisalign.


You'll be joining a friendly and experienced team who take pride in offering a warm, supportive environment for both patients and colleagues.

What we offer

Full-time hours until spring 2026, then a guaranteed two-day role thereafter

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7:45 am to 5:15 pm (Wednesday until 6:15 pm, Friday until 4:15 pm) Supportive training and genuine opportunities to develop your skills A fully computerised practice using SOE Local parking within a short walk

Someone already part way through their dental nursing course A positive, calm and caring communicator Good computer skills and attention to detail A team player who enjoys working in a busy clinical setting Dental nursing or reception experience is essential
