Job Description

We are seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is hard working, reliable, flexible and friendly. We are a busy mixed NHS / Private practice making a big difference in our community and we provide a supportive environment for our team.

The successful candidate's role will includes a range of duties. You will be working with all our dentists and hygienists, the decontamination room and reception.

Training will be given in all aspects of the job. We support the successful candidate to join Eastleigh College for a day release scheme where the theory side of the course will be taught.

The successful candidate must be able to work well as part of a team and have good communication skills. Hepatitis B vaccinations are essential before one starts the clinical side of this job and the practice will arrange for this.

Flexible part time hours are available - we will aim to accommodate the right candidate.

We offer good rates of pay for all our Dental Nurses including for apprentices. The right candidate would be paid the national minimum wage for their age which is above the national apprentice wage.

The course will lead you to being able to become a registered dental nurse, with the ability to register with the General Dental Council.
