Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients. We are a state of the art practice located just outside of the city centre with free onsite parking.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organised workflow within the practice. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and communication with patients. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in dental care.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for patient care and the ability to create a positive experience for patients. Full training will be provided.
