Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. This position requires excellent communication skills in English, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to patient welfare.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with relevant regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications to enhance patient experience. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and work areas to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff. Utilise IT systems effectively for record keeping and appointment management. Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Requirements

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

Pay: 11.44-12.21 per hour
