You will assist the dentist during treatments, help patients feel comfortable, and ensure the surgery is clean, organised, and fully prepared. Duties include chair-side assistance, instrument decontamination, maintaining accurate patient records, and following infection control, health & safety, and GDC standards. No previous experience is required--just a positive attitude, good communication skills, and a genuine interest in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
Preparing and cleaning treatment rooms
Ensuring patient comfort and reassurance
Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining instruments
Updating patient records and clinical notes
Supporting stock control and occasional reception duties
Working Hours
Full-time: 5 days per week
8:30am - 5:30pm (flexibility can be discussed)
Requirements
Willingness to train as a Dental Nurse and work towards GDC registration
Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
