Trainee Dental Nurse

who is currently enrolled on a Dental Nursing course to join our growing team.

We can offer 25.15hrs a week. Hours cover the following Monday 8:45am-5:30pm, Tuesday 8:45am-7:30pm, Wednesday 8:45am -5:30pm with potential to increase hours.

Role Overview:

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will support our experienced dentists in delivering a wide range of treatments while gaining hands-on experience to complement your ongoing studies. You'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinical operations, providing excellent patient care, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and equipment. Provide chair-side support to dentists, ensuring patients are comfortable. Record patient notes and ensure accurate documentation. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control in the surgery. Help with reception duties when required, including booking appointments and managing patient queries.

Requirements:

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Dental Nursing course with previous Dental clinic experience. Highly motivated and eager to learn Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude towards patients and a commitment to patient satisfaction. Willingness to learn and work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high clinical standards. Basic knowledge of infection control and health & safety practices in a dental setting is desirable but not essential.

Pay: 7.55-10.00 per hour
