We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a high standard of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Maintain strict infection control protocols, including sterilisation of equipment and cleanliness of the treatment area. Record patient information accurately using IT systems, including treatment notes and medical histories. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling correspondence. Ensure the smooth running of the clinic by organising supplies and maintaining stock levels. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient patient care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Good IT skills for managing patient records and administrative tasks. Compassionate approach with a focus on patient care and wellbeing. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of infection control standards within a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
