Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our recently expanded dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols. Ensure that all dental equipment is properly sterilised and maintained according to health and safety regulations. Manage appointment schedules and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones and handling patient inquiries. Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and efficient working environment.

Skills

Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous. Excellent command of English to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and support throughout their treatment journey. A genuine passion for patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
