Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterile Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times Prepare treatment rooms before appointments, including sterilisation of equipment and setting up necessary tools Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care, ideally within a dental or healthcare setting Good command of English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills Knowledge of nursing principles and practices relevant to dental care Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and administrative tasks Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients and team members Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
