Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. The Trainee Dental Nurse will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation while fostering a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide excellent patient care by addressing patient needs, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols. Ensure sterilisation of instruments and adherence to infection control policies to maintain a safe environment. Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming appointments and following up with patients as needed. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and workflow. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous but not essential. Previous experience in a dental setting is desirable but not mandatory. Positive impact on patients' lives while working in a supportive environment dedicated to professional growth and development.
