Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our professional team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop essential skills and gain practical experience in dental nursing. The successful candidate will support the dental team in delivering exceptional patient care while undertaking training to become a qualified dental nurse.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Support patients before, during, and after treatments by providing reassurance and guidance. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling efficiently. Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a clean and safe clinical environment. Participate in ongoing training sessions to develop clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures. Contribute to creating a positive, professional atmosphere that promotes excellent patient experiences.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to reassure and support patients effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and clinical tasks. Willingness to learn and develop new skills within a fast-paced healthcare setting. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Basic understanding of health and safety standards relevant to dental practice is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Enthusiasm for pursuing a career in dental nursing with a proactive attitude towards professional growth.
