We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a passion for patient care, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for all patients. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dental team and assisting in various procedures while maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications to enhance patient experience. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and other administrative tasks. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with industry standards and practices.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a friendly and professional manner. Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
