Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised Provide compassionate patient care, including explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and addressing any concerns Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment details using IT systems Ensure the clinical environment adheres to health and safety standards, including infection control protocols Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and managing patient correspondence Monitor patient wellbeing during visits, offering reassurance and support throughout their appointment Assist with the organisation of dental supplies and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

Previous experience in nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for effective patient interaction Basic IT skills are required for maintaining electronic health records and scheduling systems Organisational skills are important to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical environment A caring attitude with a focus on patient care is vital for success in this role
