Job Description

Due to increased opening hours and patient demand; South Cliff Dental Group, St Leonards is seeking to recruit Dental Nurses to join our team ( Training will be provided). This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals looking to join this fast growing branch of South Cliff that has an established team to provide support to the chosen candidate. The first role is Tuesday to Saturday ( 5 x 8 hour days) ; the second role is Monday, Tuesday and Sundays ( 3 x 8 hour days)though there is opportunity for additional hours to cover holiday or sickness. Key Responsibilities:

Assisting Dental Professionals: Assist dentists, dental hygienists, and dental therapists during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care, making them feel comfortable and at ease throughout their dental visit. Infection Control: Maintain strict infection control and sterilisation procedures, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff. Record Keeping: Accurately record patient information, treatment plans, and appointment details in patient records. Stock Management: Keep track of dental supplies and assist in ordering and restocking supplies as necessary. Maintain a Clean and Tidy Environment: Keep the dental surgery and equipment clean and organised, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements:

No prior dental experience required; we will provide comprehensive on-the-job training. Maths & English GSCE Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a passion for patient care. Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols. Flexibility to be able to work weekends on rotation. Commitment to a 12-month training period and a desire to pursue a dental nursing qualification.
