Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and a strong commitment to patient care. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care in a welcoming environment. Your ability to communicate effectively with both patients and colleagues will be essential in fostering a positive experience for everyone involved.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment for use. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as required. Provide excellent patient care by addressing any concerns or questions before, during, and after treatments. Ensure that the clinical environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Manage stock levels of dental supplies and place orders when necessary. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, appointments, and follow-up care.

Qualifications

Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent organisational abilities to maintain an efficient workflow within the practice. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication with patients and team members. Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
