Butt Lane Dental Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and friendly trainee dental nurse to join our fabulous team.

The post would suit a recent school leaver looking to become a Dental Nurse or a a candidate who is looking for a career change. It is a good "Learn in the job" opportunity for those planning to learn and grow for those who have interest in a healthcare setting. Full support will be given to aid the successful applicant throughout their training.

Overseas qualified health sector workers, who are currently on post study work visa, are welcome to apply. It is a good opportunity of gaining an insight into the working model of the health care system under the primary care setting I the field of dentistry. It is an opportunity to understand the expectation and standards set by regulating authority such as GDC, CQC, ICO and LAT.

Individuals who want to change job role to health care setting are also welcome to apply. Newly qualified nurses who are looking for a change are also welcome to apply.

The role would be a full time position, Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week.

Duties include chairside assistance to our dentists and hygienist, provide excellent levels of patient care, decontamination and sterilisation of equipment, setting up and maintaining the surgery, assisting with patient notes, adhering to practice policies, greeting patients, booking appointments and answering calls, general admin duties.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, able to work as part of a team as well as well as use own initiative. The candidate should be able to produce a proof of having signed us to a dental nursing course from a recognised institute.

Successful candidate will be offered jobs, subjected to satisfactory DBS and reference.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
