We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before appointments Sterilise and maintain dental instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, ensuring they understand their care plans Record patient information accurately using IT systems, including notes on treatment provided and patient history Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling correspondence Ensure the clinic maintains high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and infection control at all times Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and answering any queries they may have

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care, preferably within a dental or healthcare setting Good command of English, both written and spoken Relevant nursing qualifications recognised within the UK healthcare system Strong IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients and team members Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure Knowledge of infection control procedures and sterilisation standards is desirable Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a professional attitude at all times
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
