Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and looking to develop their career in dental nursing. The position is paid and suitable for both experienced nurses and those undertaking training or internships in dental nursing.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, ensuring they feel informed and cared for Maintain strict hygiene standards by sterilising instruments and managing infection control protocols Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and managing stock levels Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with patients, answering queries with professionalism and empathy

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a caring and empathetic approach Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Knowledge of nursing practices within a dental setting is desirable Good IT skills for managing patient records and administrative tasks Organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Ability to work well within a team whilst maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
