Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist in various clinical procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols and regulations. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment to uphold health and safety standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless operations within the practice.

Skills

Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. A background in nursing or relevant qualifications that support your role as a Dental Nurse. IT skills for managing patient records and using dental software efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. This is a position for a trainee dental nurse, you will be supported by the practice with training and eventually working towards a recognised qaulification to become a GDC registered dental professional.

We welcome all applications, levels of experience vary. Some previous experience is ideal, however not neccessary as full support and training will be given.
