As a trainee Dental Nurse, you will be assisting the dentist with all clinical aspects within the surgery and providing patients with a high level of care. You will need to be organised and work well under pressure as well as having a caring nature to be able to support patients. You will be supported by your work placement and your training provider to ensure you receive ongoing support and training to develop the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified dental nurse and begin your professional career path.
Job role includes:
Assisting the dentist during treatments
Patient care
Setting up and cleaning surgery
Sterilising instruments
Updating patient records
Maintaining equipment
Preparing instruments for various treatments
Mixing materials
