We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic
Trainee dental nurse
to join our friendly and professional team. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and approachable individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding patient care. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, offering a variety of dental nursing and receptionist duties, according to role on the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring that the surgery runs smoothly and efficiently.
Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Manage appointment bookings and schedule patient visits.
Greet patients, answer phone calls, and handle patient queries in a courteous and professional manner.
Provide administrative support, including filing and handling patient correspondence.
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the practice.
Work closely with other team members to provide exceptional patient care.
Skills & Experience Required:
A genuine interest in dentistry and patient care.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, well-presented, and able to work well as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and work towards the
Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing
.
Basic computer literacy.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science preferred.
