Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment schedules and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of patient care. Requirement to learn and work on reception when needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving practices within the dental field.
