We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic apprentice/or trainee dental nurse to join our practice (shared role nursing and reception duties), full training available-no experience required, for full time vacancy at our practice in Beckenham. This is fantastic opportunity to work in a fully equipped, state of the art practice. About us:

We are dynamic and forward-thinking practice consisting of 2 dentists . We carry out aligner treatments, composite bonding, implant treatments as well as general dentistry. We are open to new trainee dental nurse/receptionists and are happy to train and provide all the support needed for the role. We have a wealth of experience within the dental industry and we are looking for a hardworking individual to join us.

About you:

Trainee or Apprentice/trainee Dental Nurse

Beckenham Smiles Dental Practice

Up to 12.00 per hour, May differ depending on nursing experience and if qualified gained or not.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring CQC requirements are met

Providing clinical chairside support to the dentist

Maintaining stock levels of consumables within the centre

Setting up and decontamination of instruments

Reception cover, face to face and over the telephone, arranging appointments, taking payments, rearranging diaries as necessary.

Maintaining and updating patient records and medical records

Specific Skills

Experience of Dentally system desirable - not required as training provided, to possess good computer/IT skills

Experience working in a busy environment

Maintain a strong emphasis on the patient journey and level of service provided

Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. 08:00-18:00pm.

Job Types: Full-time

Salary from: 20,000 per year (depending on apprenticeship/Trainee route taken)

Day shift 9 hour shift Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday) Supportive team and great working environment
Supplemental pay types:
