This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the company as a Trainee Dental Nurse at our practice in South Cliff Dental, Trinity Trees, Eastbourne. You do not need any previous experience to apply for this position, so if you are interested in starting a new career in the dental sector then this is the best place to start.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality Dental nursing whilst assisting each Dentist/hygienist, in all procedures, in a safe and effective manner. Follow practice policies and procedures Establish, promote, and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties if required

Clinical Nursing

Setting up the surgery and treatment trays, ready for each patient. Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available Ensure the General Dental Practitioner runs on time. Cleaning, sterilisation and storage of all dental equipment and instruments. Ensure the surgery is kept clean & tidy, and the surfaces are always cleaned and disinfected in-between patients and. Make sure all hazardous and non-hazardous waste is disposed of correctly. Checking of day list, ensuring the dentist has the correct patient records available. Ensure the care and welfare of patients.
