We are seeking a

Trainee Design Engineer

to join our team at Spiral. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their career in engineering and specialise in designing whilst being part of a growing successful company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to the role. Core skills in problem solving, communication, collaboration and multi-tasking are essential.

Design Engineers will be trained to manage a range of exciting projects from concept to completion. They will work within the main manufacturing site to aid the sale and design process, through to fabrication for hand over to installation teams.

The Role:

Produce CAD staircase drawings and detailed fabrication packs in Solidworks according to information supplied. Client facing - must be fluent in English, comfortable in all project communications using Teams, Email and Telephone. Work with both internal and external customers in order to produce designs that satisfy all areas whilst within budgetary requirements

Essential Knowledge requirements:

Engineering qualification Must have a meticulous, disciplined approach and work to a high level of accuracy.

Desirable:

Previous experience of using Solidworks. Experience of AutoCad. Fabrication knowledge (Metal / Joinery)

Pay: From 25,500.00 per year
