Measham Medical Unit is a friendly and supportive GP practice based on the outskirts of North West Leicestershire, providing services to patients in North West Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Warwickshire.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy Dispensary Team as a Trainee Dispenser. The role is part-time and we are looking for someone for 25 hours per week to be worked Monday 8:00am - 6:30pm, Wednesday 1:00pm - 6:30pm and Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm.

We currently dispense to around half of our 15,800 patient population, both in the practice and also via our delivery service.

Overview of the role -

To provide efficient and accurate dispensing of medication to patients and to assist the Dispensary Manager in ensuring effective financial control of the dispensary.

Work to agreed practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.

As a member of staff with direct contact with patients, represent the practice in a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Applicants must be prepared to complete and pass the Level 2 Dispensing qualification.

Salary will be dependent on the experience of the successful candidate.
