About Us

Speeds Healthcare is a national provider of outsourced pharmacy solutions to hospitals and specialist care facilities throughout the UK. We specialise in mental health and eye services. From our Chester pharmacy we supply hospitals and care facilities across the UK. We link this with a team that remotely visit our sites to support with medicines management on site. Our premises are not open to the general public, which allows us to focus on the dispensing activities.

We have expanded into a much larger new site in Chester, providing great development opportunities for our team.

Summary of Role

You will be responsible for undertaking a broad range of activities, including:

Dispensing private and NHS prescriptions Supporting the pharmacy team improve and develop an accurate and efficient dispensary service Undertake NVQ2 qualification Dispensing Assistant within 18 months
Skills Required:

1. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in prescription processing and medication management.

2. Communication Skills: Effectively interacting with customers, healthcare professionals, and team members.

3. Customer Service: Providing excellent service and addressing patient queries and concerns.

4. Organizational Skills: Managing inventory, maintaining records, and ensuring the pharmacy is well-organized.

5. Technical Skills: Basic computer competence

6. Teamwork: Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

7. Problem-Solving: Addressing issues that arise in prescription processing or customer service.

8. Time Management: Handling multiple tasks efficiently, especially during busy periods.

Working Hours

Opening hours 8.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 8.30am -12.30pm Saturdays
