Job Description

We are looking for Trainee Education Support Assistants who are happy to travel across Sunderland to support pupils with SEN, SEMH and wellbeing needs. This role provides valuable experience for those considering a long-term career in education or pastoral support.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with learning, behaviour and wellbeing.
Assist with classroom activities and routines.
Build positive relationships with pupils.
Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
Support pupils during lessons and transitions.
Skills & Experience
Interest in education, SEN or behaviour support.
Willingness to travel locally.
Patient, enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
Experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
