Are you looking to kick-start your career in engineering? We are seeking a motivated
Trainee Engineer
to join our team and gain hands-on experience working with powered access equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop valuable skills in a fast-paced and rewarding industry.What will you be doing?
Assist experienced engineers with the servicing, maintenance, and repairs of powered access equipment, including scissor lifts and boom lifts. Learn how to conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and safety checks. Support breakdown diagnostics and fault-finding under supervision. Gain knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. A strong interest in engineering and mechanics.
What we are looking for?
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills. Some hands-on experience with tools and machinery (e.g., through studies, hobbies, or previous work) is essential. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A team player with a positive attitude. A full UK driving licence
Schedule
08:00 to 17:30 Monday - Friday.
1 Saturday out of 4 for 6 hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.12 per hour
Work Location: In person
