Due to expansion and the qualification of several of our trainees, we are now looking to start the training process for our next generation of engineers. If you have a background mechanical or electrical engineering (or are interested and willing to learn), are numerate, literate and have a positive attitude you could be just who we are looking for.
Successful applicants will benefit from potential growth in the role through an accredited NVQ3 course to become a fully qualified lift engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting an engineer with repair, maintenance and modernisations across England and Wales.
Sharing the driving with engineer or other trainees.
Help manage van stock to ensure appropriate spares are consistently available.
Ensuring timesheets are completed in a timely manner.
Ensuring all tools and equipment is kept in a clean and serviceable state.
Complete training courses on an ongoing basis.
Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
Knowledge of basic tooling.
Familiarity with basic concepts of mechanical and electrical engineering.
Good problem-solving skills.
Basic mechanical knowledge relevant to engineering applications.
Full clean UK Driving License.
Be based local to the GU46 area.
