TRAINEE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT (AIR, WATER, NOISE, VIBRATION AND COSHH) - SOUTHEAST



Riverside are seeking candidates for a fully funded training programme to become multidisciplinary consultants in air, water, noise, vibration and COSHH. Each a specialisation within the environmental sector.

The role is ideal for someone who:



Doesn't want to be stuck behind a desk, instead they enjoy an active job where every day is different, going to different places and meeting new people. Even going behind the scenes in significant/historic buildings, seeing areas you wouldn't normally have access to.

25,058 rising initially to 27,857 after the first year.

The Role:



The correct term for a consultant with these specialisations is an occupational hygienist. A type of environmental consultant who travels to client sites to assess, test and monitor a number of risks which can cause harm if uncontrolled, samples are then taken to laboratories for analysis and a formal report compiled. Our quality methods keep both the consultant and building occupants completely safe throughout.

We will provide fully funded training and experience before a staged authorisation stage begins.

Assist authorised consultants in conducting their duties.

Learn to setup and correctly use technical equipment such as air pumps, monitors and other technical equipment.

Use tablet PCs to collect data and accurately describe findings.

Travel from site to site, arriving on time and communicating effectively.

Be proactive in your learning and development.

Role Requirements:



Must have a full UK driving licence and enjoy driving

Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check

Hold GCSE A-C or equivalent in Maths, English and Science

Must be willing to pass training courses associated with the role.

Must be friendly, professional and hard working at all times.

Be able to pass technical audits and exams.

Be methodical in their approach and excellent at communication.
