Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Executry Team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or further their career in the legal field, with a focus on executry work.
As a Trainee Executry Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the executry process. You will be responsible for communicating with clients, assisting with executry clients and administration, liaising with Scottish clients, solicitors, and executors, managing your own caseload, and drafting court documents. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
Responsibilities
:
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and answering queries.
Assist with executry clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Support executry administration tasks, maintaining accurate and organised records.
Liaise with Scottish clients, solicitors, and executors to facilitate the executry process.
Manage your own caseload, ensuring all tasks are completed within set timescales.
Draft court documents and other necessary legal paperwork.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet firm objectives and client needs.
Skills
:
Confident in speaking with clients, providing clear and professional communication.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently, using initiative to solve problems and make decisions.
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with legal software and Microsoft Office.
