Trainee Exhibition Stand Builder

We are looking for a trainee Exhibition Stand Builder to join our expanding and growing Exhibition Team.
This is a varied role. It will involve driving company vehicles and learning how to build and dismantle exhibition stands at venues across the UK and some overseas work.

Permanent role
37.5 hours per week -
Basic hours are Mon - Fri 8.30 am - 5.00 pm with 1hr for lunch.
The role could also include working additional hours, overnight stays and weekends, for which Lieu time will be accrued.

Essential:

Full clean UK driving licence
A great work ethic, including a willingness to learn, work evenings and weekends when needed
Ability to work and communicate as part of a small friendly team
Physically able to lift and move heavy objects
Adherence to health and safety
Comfortable working at height
Up to date Passport

Responsibilities:

Working with our experienced stand builders both in our warehouse and onsite

Learning the essential skills required within the Exhibition Industry

Learning the interpretation and understanding of working drawings

Due to the nature of this work the successful applicant must be prepared to work some unsociable hours, which may include weekends and also be available to stay away overnight from time to time.
