Position Overview



HIT Education is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic

Trainee Facilitator

to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, personal development, and community engagement. As a Trainee Facilitator, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in planning and delivering engaging training sessions that inspire learners to achieve their goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a foundation in facilitation, with clear pathways for professional growth and progression within the organisation. The role is based working within our RCT HWB and also supporting in neighbouring councils.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in crafting and delivering

tailored training sessions

, using a variety of teaching strategies to engage and empower learners. Collaborate on

designing innovative lesson plans

, incorporating interactive activities and diverse learning styles.

Support and guide learners

as they progress toward their milestones and personal goals.

Participate in community outreach initiatives

to extend the reach and impact of HIT Education's programs. Help establish

stimulating and inclusive learning environments

that encourage participation and collaboration. Conduct

regular well-being checks

and contribute to monthly reports on learner progress. Work closely with the

wider support network

to ensure positive outcomes for all participants. Assist in

identifying and promoting progression opportunities

for learners. Support learners'

mental health and well-being

through compassionate and attentive engagement. Contribute to educational delivery across

multiple settings

, including classrooms, community spaces, and residential environments.

Strong

interpersonal and communication skills

, with the ability to connect with diverse groups of learners.

Creative and adaptable

approach to facilitation and problem-solving. Excellent

organisation and multitasking

abilities, with attention to detail. Demonstrated

and a proactive attitude toward supporting learner well-being. Basic understanding of

educational tools and technology

, with a willingness to learn new methods.

Team-oriented

mindset with a collaborative and supportive approach. Proficiency with

Microsoft Office and presentation software

Qualifications and Experience



Minimum

Secondary school

or equivalent

(further education qualifications are an advantage). A genuine

interest in training, education, or facilitation

. Experience in

care, coaching, teaching, or community work

is beneficial but not essential.

Willingness to learn

and develop within a structured training program.
