Job Description

We are looking for a Trainee Farm Compliance Advisor to join the Frontier team on a temporary, full-time basis for 12 months. This is a fully homebased role but there will be a requirement to attend sites when needed, namely our sites at Sandy, Bedfordshire and Bourne, Lincolnshire.
You will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative, technical and general support to provide farm compliance advice nationally.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the agricultural sector. This role requires a strong customer focus, planning, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop effective and supportive customer relationships.

• Experience of working within the agricultural industry

• Experience of working in an advisory role
• Strong, confident telephone manner
• Proven attention to detail
• Ability to manage a full workload
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Good time management skills
• Good written communication skills
• High standard of numeracy and literacy
• Able to work co-operatively with others and without supervision
• FACTS qualification - desirable but not essential.

Your Role
As a Trainee Farm Compliance Advisor your role will involve:

• Being responsible for data compilation and data input, collating management plans and other records to assist customers to comply with regulations.

• Booking appointments to undertake farm visits to gather data

• Supporting the MyCompliance team with map work

• Working as part of the team to keep spreadsheets and procedure documentation up to date

• Liaising with the Marketing team when required

• Dealing with soil sampling requests

• Helping to promote MyCompliance presence at demo site days

• Researching into changing requirements when requested and contribution to team knowledge exchange
