Trainee Finance Business Partner

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Trainee Finance Business Partnerto join our friendly team in Chorley. This is primarily an office-based role, with some flexibility for remote working. You will work closely with the Finance Business Partner to assist in various ongoing projects and support finance integration for recent acquisitions.

Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm with a one hour break (35 hours)

Salary:

Competitive dependant on experience and qualifications. Available upon request.

Job Requirements



Skills



Strong numerical and analytical skills. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with finance and non-finance colleagues. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems/tools.

Qualifications & Experience (desirable but not essential)



Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA,ACA) or interest in doing so. Some previous work experience (e.g., internship, placement year, or entry-level finance role).

Development Opportunities

Job Responsibilities



Support the finance team with integrating newly acquired businesses into BAU process. Be a point of contact for projects team for any M&A related work to ensure efficient integration. Assist with ad hoc financial analysis. Contribute to financial presentations and reports for senior management. Support budgeting and planning cycles. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within reporting and analysis. Participate in projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.
