What You'll Gain

You'll work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team to gain practical knowledge and qualifications, including:


BTEC Level 3 in Practical Fire Alarm Installation Fire Alarm Service, Maintenance & Repair Fire Safety Awareness and Risk Assessment FIA Level
This hands-on role is tailored for individuals who may have already worked on-site (e.g. as an electrician's mate) or recently completed college-based technical training and are now ready to specialise in a professional field.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs of fire alarm systems and related equipment. Support planned maintenance and emergency call-out work under the supervision of senior engineers. Use IT systems for documentation, reporting, and diagnostics as part of our digital service delivery model. Attend regular in-house training and progress meetings at our officers in Rochdale and other training centres Follow all health and safety regulations and industry best practices at all times.

What We're Looking For

A

genuine passion for learning

and progressing within the fire & security industry. Some

on-site experience

or practical exposure to electrical systems is advantageous. A strong work ethic with a team-first attitude and a desire to master your trade. Good basic IT skills (MS Office) and confidence using technology and devices in the field. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Minimum

GCSE A-C

(or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Full UK driving licence

and the ability to pass an

enhanced DBS check

.
