Elite Fire Stop are seeking a Trainee Fire Stopper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring fire safety by installing fire stopping systems in various construction settings. The Fire Stopper will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with fire safety regulations and protecting property and lives.

Responsibilities

Install fire stopping systems in walls, floors, and ceilings to prevent the spread of fire and smoke. Use hand tools and power tools to fit materials as required. Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure proper integration of fire stopping measures. Conduct inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring that all tools and materials are stored safely. Follow all health and safety regulations while on site. Assist in troubleshooting any issues related to fire stopping installations.

Qualifications

Familiarity with hand / power tools is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety on site. Driving Licence and own vehicle (Required). CSCS is preferred however this is not essential. Willingness to travel around the 'Northwest' region dependant on project location (Required).

Pay: 100.00 per day
