Overview

We are seeking a trainee Fireplace Installer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be learning all aspects of the job for installing, repairing, and maintaining fireplaces and stoves in residential properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction, carpentry, or related trades to utilise their expertise in a specialised field. The position involves working on-site, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering high-quality service to our customers

Duties

Assist in Installing fireplaces, including fitting flues, chimneys, and associated components according to technical specifications Using hand tools and power tools to carry out precise cutting, fitting, and assembly tasks learning to Ensure all installations comply with relevant building codes and safety regulations . Collaborating with on site qualified installer on next steps of installation learning to Read technical drawings to guide installation processes and requirements Maintaining a clean and safe work environment throughout each installation .

Requirements

Proven experience in construction-related trades such as roofing, carpentry, masonry or plastering is highly desirable Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and installation tasks Attention to detail and the ability to read instructions carefully Ability to work at heights and on rooftops safely when required Strong understanding of safety procedures and building regulations within the construction industry Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Valid UK driving licence preferred but not essential for trainees

Pay: 27,248.00-29,120.00 per year
